What is the difference between operational (E) and supervisory (D) qualifications?

Operational qualifications (E) allow for the operation, maintenance and repair of energy devices. Supervisory qualifications (D) are higher and authorize the management, supervision and control of the work of people with E qualifications and to direct work on energy devices.

How long are energy qualifications valid?

Energy qualifications are valid for 5 years. After this time, you must take another exam before the qualification committee.

Do I need technical education to obtain energy qualifications?

For operational qualifications (E), technical education is not required, but professional practice is. For supervisory qualifications (D), technical education and appropriate professional practice are required, depending on the level of education.
